Help Support Postpartum Progress

0003-cropped-Final_Jar-with-straight_onesie_Jammies-in-a-jar-pageI have been sitting on this news for a week, and I have been bursting to tell you!  I am a proud Warrior Mom who has overcome postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety.  One of the touchstones of my recovery was Katherine Stone’s blog, Postpartum Progress.  Katherine has the most widely read blog on the Internet.  It was a highlight of last year when I participated in the Mother’s Day rally.  My highlight hits year was when I was mentioned along with an amazing group of fellow Warrior Moms who are amazing writers in an article.  I cried tears of joy just to be recognized among those women.  I cannot wait to meet Katherine in person and weep all over her at BlogHer in Chicago.

The amazing news is that a baby product is being launched to help postpartum depression: Jammies by Hélène Laure.  For each Jammie’s Jar sold, Helene’s company, Two Mice, A Bear and A Bunny LLC, will donate 10% of the profit to Postpartum Progress, Katherine Stone’s national nonprofit that raises awareness of postpartum depression and promotes better support and services for pregnant and new mothers with mental illness.  Click on the link below to buy some adorable onesies.  I am thrilled to finally have an original gift for a baby shower.  I think I am going to stock up now!  http://www.postpartumprogress.com/jammies-onesies-raise-postpartum-depression-awareness

About tranquilamama

Juggling parenthood, housework and working outside the home in the corporate world with my wonderful husband. Mom to 2 beautiful girls. PPD and PPA survivor. The title of my blog is after a phrase that was repeated to me in Spain during my semester abroad in college. It roughly translates to relax and calm down. Trying to tame my inner perfectionist and just be a good enough mom.
