Guest Post for Charity: Reflections on Motherhood

I was honored to be asked by Charity to contribute a guest post at her blog. Her title is Our Giggles and Grimaces.  It sums up for me what motherhood is like.  I share my reflections on motherhood and the lessons that I have learned this week.

Charity and I met on Twitter through #ppdchat.  She is a fellow Warrior Mama.  She and I found out that we share some common experiences.  She is the mom to three little girls, and I am the mom to two little girls.  We both work full-time outside of the home.  We both breastfed our daughters.  We both are from the Midwest.  She is from Michigan, and I am from Wisconsin; we are separated by the beautiful Lake Michigan or as Munch my oldest calls it “the big pool”.  Please come share your reflections of motherhood with me and what motherhood has taught you at http://gigglesandgrimaces.com/2012/03/what-have-you-learned-this-week/.

About tranquilamama

Juggling parenthood, housework and working outside the home in the corporate world with my wonderful husband. Mom to 2 beautiful girls. PPD and PPA survivor. The title of my blog is after a phrase that was repeated to me in Spain during my semester abroad in college. It roughly translates to relax and calm down. Trying to tame my inner perfectionist and just be a good enough mom.
